Hey RHS Class of 1972!

Our reunion is coming up fast! Only 2 weeks away!

DEADLINE: September 11th if you are planning to attend the Saturday picnic at Leslie Grove Park (see details below). The caterer requests a head count for meal preparation.

On Friday, September 15, if convenient, please stop by the Hanford House lobby between 2:00 and 4:00 to check in with us, get name tags, prepay for the picnic, and get further information if needed. Look for a class of ‘72 sign.

REUNION EVENT SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, Sept. 15, 4:30 to 9:30 There will be a no-host evening in a private room at the Gaslight. We will have a check-in table at this event for nametags, pre-pay for the picnic and other reunion information.

FRIDAY, Sept. 15, 10pm - ? Tony MAKI nd Janice BUNCH Maki are offering their suite for a casual get together catching up on old times and current.

SATURDAY, Sept. 16, 9:30am RHS Buildings Tour - Jim QUALHEIM ('70) will meet the class of '72 alumni in front of the main office on 930 Long Ave. Jim is the current activities director/ track coach, and reigning historian

SATURDAY, Sept. 16, 11:30 to 3:30 Catered picnic by Terri MARCUM ('71) (owner of The Sports Page and RHS alumni) at Leslie Grove Park (via Harris Ave. and Park St. at the picnic shelter).($20 each – RSVP and payment required for lunch). Bring your own chairs (if possible) and beverages.
If you are planning to attend the Saturday picnic at Leslie Grove Park, RSVP deadline is September 11th . The caterer requires a head count for meal preparation so please indicate if you’re accompanied with someone. The buffet will consist of: BBQ pulled pork and teriyaki pulled chicken with buns, green salad, potato salad, baked beans, and water will be provided.

SATURDAY NIGHT, Sept. 16, 4pm to ? Tony MAKI nd Janice BUNCH Maki are hosting a casual wine tasting event in the hotel courtyard, outside their suite, featuring wines from Hedges Cellars and Chandler Reach, both of which are owned by Richland alumni.

We will be having an official Class of ’72-hosted Hospitality Suite both Friday and Saturday nights at the Hanford House, hosted by Tony MAKI nd Janice BUNCH Maki. We would like everyone to come to the Suite and the courtyard to continue catching up.

Other events that are being considered include:

- a hike up Badger Mountain and/or Candy Mountain (shorter and less strenuous than Badger);

- a tailgate party in the parking lot adjacent to the Spudnut Shop.

Deadline for hotel reservation was August 25th!
The Hanford House is giving us a group rate for our reunion - a premium room for $113 a night, including the breakfast buffet (regular price is $125). Call 1-800-733-5466 and ask to make a reservation at the Richland Red Lion. Give them the dates of September 15 and 16, 2017, give them the group code RICH0915, and specify a first floor premium room so you get a room opening out on to the grass courtyard. We will have tables out on the grass to facilitate socializing.

NOtICE: CLASS OF ‘67 IS ALSO HAVING A REUNION AT THE RICHLAND RED LION (HANFORD HOUSE). CALL SOONER RATHER THAN LATER FOR YOUR RESERVATION!
